dear friends,
i am going to land in toronto pearson intl airport for the first time as a immigrant with my wife and child 14months old from london on 10 of sept,so i will be thankful if someone can give me the neccessary information regarding the landing procedure and funds to be shown.
1) what are the imp documents needed at the time of landing that one should keep with himself at the airport?.
2) it will be ok if i show the fund in pounds instead of canadian dollars?
3) how much money i have to show at the time of landing for three of us?
4) getting through the immigration/customs procedure is time consuming and difficult or not?
thanks
tnm

1) Please see the Landing forum, it has numerous threads on this topic. You have to have the passports, funds, Goods list etc. Please go through that thread and all your questions will be answered
2) Yes you should be able to get in pounds as long as you meet the minimum requirements for a family. The cic.gc.ca web site has a chart that tells you the figures
3) See this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/qual-4.html
4) It is not if you have all the documents in order, again individual experiences might vary, I suggest you go through the threads to read individual experiences
