Land any hour any day?

Hi all,

I am planning to land on a weekend after office hours. Will there be officers processing my landing?

Yes....

Depends how you are landing..if by air then for sure you can land anytime the flight reaches canada.
if by land there are some landing posts in remote areas that close after 8 pm but usually the big posts like buffalo, niagara , peach-arch, blaine truck crossing , sumas etc are open at all times

Yes but...

I had someone landing late in the evening by road.. There was something wrong in the landing papers. When it was sent to us by CIC the officer had signed below the boxprovided for the purpose.

Now ordinarily this is no big deal and a phone call (the cic officer at the port does NOT have access to all parts of the application on the computer)to CIC wherever can clear this up. But because it was after hours this person was sent back to the US and had to go the next morning to the canadian consulate to have this cleared up.

If your papers are fine on the other hand you should have no issue.
