My company is willing to pay for EAD and AP renew in Boston local office. The problem is my lawyer can only send me law firm check, then they will credit billing from the company. Will Boston accept this kind of check from immigration law firm.

Anyone else know the answer

For application by mail
yes they will take the money,
they dont care where it comes from.

For Same day walkin application
I am not sure,
may be lamborghini or some other Bostonian can help.

I don't know what a law firm check is, but if it is a personal check drawn on law firm account then I have a feeling they don't accept - can't be sure.

They might accept certified checks (you know the ones where the bank verifies that money exists in the account and stamps it and already deducts it from the account)

They accept Money Orders.

Anybody else have any info, please share
 
52000 why are you going through your lawyer.. see if you can convince your boss of this as a (legal) business expense and then do it yourself and expense it.

After all it is between you and your boss/supervisor.

Remember that the I-485 petition is owned by the applicant and not by the company - you can try and wiggle some room here
