I was laid off in November on H1B. I got married last week and my wife has an F-1 visa. I am soon going back to my home country where I\'m gonna apply for an F-2 visa. My H1B visa stamp is still valid for one more year, and my I-94 is still valid, but I have been laid off for more than a month (INS has not been notified yet). Are there any chances to NOT get the F-2 visa? How should I answer the questions at the consulate?
