Laid off with unapproved I-140 pending for over 180 days

Folks,
My I-140 and I-485 were concurrently filed in August, 2007. Both have been pending for over 180 days. The I-140 has not been approved yet. If I get laid off by my employer, how many days do I have to find a new job and invoke AC21 to transfer my I-485 to the new company?

Typically you must find a job ASAP in the same field, though there is no time limit as such. But if you delay it for too long it can be a problem.
