gc_hopefully,
Excellent post!
georgi,
Sorry to hear about the news. It totally sucks! Please find below my $0.02, I hope it helps you somewhat in this terrible situation.
1. Make sure you have all the original documents/receipts 485, AP, EAD.
2. Try getting a copy of I-140 for records, but they might not give it to you, in which case it is okay.
3. If you can (and you are happy with them), keep the same law firm, it will help you immensely with getting access to documents you wouldn't get copies off.
4. Start looking for a full time job immediately with the same (similar) job description and => salary.
5. Negotiate with the company to see if they can break your final payments over a period of time, which gives you access to paystubs in case of RFE.
6. Get an EVL from the company, stating duration of employment, salary paid, job description, etc.
7. Don't walk away from the company with bad relationships. Make sure you keep in touch with your boss, in case of future requirements of letters stating "will employ with GC".
Please post here again if you have any further questions. Good luck and our best wishes are with you.
