Laid off since Dec 08. Options?

Hi,

I got laid off in December 2008.

My vendor still holds my H1, but is unable to find me a job so far.
So transferring the H1 to a new firm is an option, if the new firm finds me a job.

But I just have December payslips. Also, my H-1 is also valid only until December 2010.

My Greencard stage 2 is approved. I am not sure if this helps my situation in any way.

I want to be able to work if another company finds me a job.

Can anyone please let me know what are my options at this point?

you have a job with your vendor, you need to get paid.

complain to dol for unpaid wages and pave way for getting back into status and transfer to another employer or return to home country.
