Laid off in EAD. Options?

If one is laid off after the EAD has been approved and 140/485 are pending for about 2 months, what are the options?

Does the GC process has to start from scratch?

If you didn't use your EAD to work and you are still in H1 or L1 status, it doesn't matter.
As for being laid off 2 months into I-485 and without the I-140, please refer to the local I-485 threads, for I've seen similar questions and answer there (especially in CSC thread).
