Laid off from JOB (I-485 Pending)

I-485 RD 7/10/00 FP done 11/22/00 EAD AD 10/18/00

1/19/00 is my Friend\'s Last day with my current employer as Full time. His current Job Title is Programmer/Analyst. They also gave him an option to work part time ( around 40hr/ Month)

He had recieved a new offer as Systems Admin with more salary.

How much chance do you think he has that his I-485 will be approved???

Take the partime option and on EAD he can negotiate a postition with flexible hours with other company until GC comes through..

If there is no RFE, he\'s fine. If he has an RFE (which asks for
an employment letter), the best thing (if he can manage it ) is to
get a letter showing that the has the same job title and description.
If that it not possible, then I am not sure what are other options.
he should talk to a lawyer...
