I was laid off after about 150 days into my I485 application. Severance covered me to about 5 days past the 180 day point (I have pay stubs etc). I also received my Employment Authorization Card prior to the 180 days. I went for FBI finger printing almost to the day of my 180 day point. I\'ve now been out of severance for 2 months (and I suppose out of status for that time as well) and am feverishly looking for work.
Questions:
1) What are the chances of the INS picking up on this?
2) If I get another job and start work using the EAD, will the INS ever know the difference?
3) Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to complete the FBI fingerprint process and to receive the greencard?
