I telephoned my lawyer on Friday as our FP's will be expiring in 3 months (Original FP March 2002). On a previous thread it mentioned that lawyers can fax for case status at this time. He totally confused me - said as our case is being handled at Laguna Niguel and not LA????? approvals are being handled differently. Doesn't make sense to me - any input appreciated...........

Employment based 485's go to Laguna Niguel. And if over there the officer decides that your particular case needs an interview (god forbid), then it goes to the local office based on your mailing address (I think your's would be LA).
