I am from India on a H1B visa here since April'01, which has been sent for renewal to INS.
My company had applied for my GC, the first step being labour from NJ. I spoke to my Company's lawyer who told me it was applied in July'02.
Last time when i spoke to him he had no updates and told me we will have to wait for a while as they have not reached that date yet.
My question is :-
1. Where can i get more info. about Labour / green cards etc.
2. Time for which they r processing what is shown on this web site also contradicts the excel sheel which has been provided on this web site for updating labour response time.
Does anyone have any idea, how much time app.will it take more in getting labour done ?
Is there anything i can do to expedite it or be prepared for the next step.
