Labour filing (Virginia Vs Tannessee)

My company is filing for labour cert (non RIR) from the state
where I work. Presently I have two offers for work, one each
in Virginia and Tennessee. My lawyer says the current processing
times in both states are same. It seems true if I see the DOL
processing times for Philadelphia and Atlanta.

But I have come to know that there is huge backlog of applications in Virginia as compared to Tennessee. Is it
true ? Is there any documentation available to prove that
it might take longer in Virginia to process than in tennesse ?

your best bet is VA as they have really picked up the pace. Once they finish April 2001 Non RIRs they have just 1 or 2 Non RIRs per month and they are doing Sep 2001 RIRs.
The real advantage is at the Regional level where PA regional office is far better then the Atlanta DOL so you will save some time there.
