Here are the incidents happend to my LCA.

1. Filed LCA from New Jersy in Feb'2002 from a company, say 'Company X'.
2. Company X is sold to Company Y in Jun'2003.
3. Company X filed LCA from NJ, while Company Y has office in NY

Now the time has come to get my LCA cleared (Hope there would not be any problem!). My question is:
i. Would LCA would be valid since there is change of Employers and change of STATE. (from NJ to NY)
ii. Would there be any problem in I-140, as Company A doesnt exist now.

If anybody has same experience, please let me know your suggestion/comments.

Thanks,
Madhuri

If company "Y" is taking all the responsibilty of company "X", you should be fine.

If possible, ask your attorney to send a letter to DOL to amend LC accordingly.

is LC approval is transferable?

Guys,
I have question.

My LC approval is from company 'A' which is located in Colorado, Denvor( I never worked for this company . I applied as 'future employee ').

I am working for Company B since 2002 as full time employee, which is located in Raleigh , North Carolina.

Can I transfer my approved labor from company A to B?
If possible , what are steps should be taken care of?

I appreciate you response.

Thanks
