Labor Substitution

Hi,

My company has an approved Labor for a person who left the company. The labor was approved for an MCA degree. My skillsets match his skillset but I have BS and 8+ years of experience. Can someone please let me know if my degree and years of experience with the skill set being a perfect match would be OK for Labor substitution.

Thanks

The labor was "approved for an MCA degree". Technically you can not apply. even MCS can not be substituted by MBA in MIS Concentration or vice versa. One of my friend in Oct, 2002 gets rejected due to qual. reason. You would be lucky enough to get through in this economy. One thing for sure, now a days GC processes are time consuming and risky wheather you substitute or not.
