Labor Substitution

Hello,
I have recently joined a company which had offered to do the labor substitution for me, provided my skill set matches with any of the approved labor applications.
I have recently been contacted by the lawyer about the requirements for aan approved labor and fortunately, the profile matches my experience.
However my previous company (that I left 2 years ago) gave me a very generic experience letter staing the dates of employment and some other information. Now the lawyer wants a detailed employment verification letter mentioning the skiils possed, to be able to proceed with the substitution.
I am contacting the company here to get the letter from them. However the people I worked for are in the same company but in UK. It would be easier for me to get a letter from them certifying my experience, however on the UK letterhead of the same company.
Is that acceptable for the substitution, to get the detailed letter on the UK letterhead of the company, given that I had worked in UK and US for the same company?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for your advice. I forgot to add one more thing to my message. The company has a headquarters in the USA. I hope it won't matter even in this case to get the letter from UK

Thanks,
pg
