Labor Substitution question

- I am currently on 7th yr. extension till 07/2007
Labor filed thru RIR on 03/2005.
- Is it advisable to transfer to a company who is willing to substitute labor from 2003? What are the risks, if any?

They said with that labor, my I-140 will get approved in 2 months & I can get greencard in 2 yrs.

All advice/thoughts appreciated!

The LC substitution will end soon. Unless you can have your I140 approved before the new Reg implemented, it may have risk. So, the best bet is to ask the new employer file the I-140 on your behalf immediately and then join them after I140 gets approved(as they said, in two months).

Thanks compiler:

Do you know what is required for I-140, docs, etc.? & what are the travel restrictions after that? & can I still change employer after that?

Regards.

I suggest you read the instructions on the I140 form. You will find what you want. Travel, change of employment has nothing to do with the employer filing the I140.
