Labor substitution help

HI all,

My empoyer has a pre-approved labor on which it says

Masters degree accepted in lieu of BS with experience
Must be progressive
verifiable references
Must be willing to relocate if required.
Experience in oracle.
=======

First two lines are striked out and signed in approved LC.

I've Bachelors in Civil engg from India, Masters in Engg from US and by PD on LC I've 1+ yrs of experience. LC requires 1 yr exp.

Could you please comment on risks involved in using this LC.
 
labor substituion help needed - Unitednations and other Guru's

Hi All,
My employer is willing to use a pre approved labor for me. I have a problem with major field of study mismatch. Pre approved labor says following in column 14.

college : 4 yrs
degree : bachelor's or equivalent
major field of study : computer science

I have 4 yrs BE (Electronics & communication) degree from India.
I am really concerned to use the pre approved labor as it is says computer sceience in the major field and they have not mentioned equivalent or engineering.

I have a education evaluation done for H1-B and it says following...
"Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Computer Sceicne".

Will this evaluation work for me? Can I use this evaluation for my labor substiution? (or) should I have to get it re-evaluated? (or) do u suggest me not to use the approved labor at all?.

Is it safe to file I-140 with this pre approved labor and education evaluation. I would appreciate if any one can help me with this so that I can decide on using the pre approved labor.

How to get Labor Information for EVL

Hi UnitedNations and others..

If you plan to send and EVL how do you get the details of your Labor information regarding your job titlle, duties,academic background and also experience.
Is this labor any different from the one filed for H1?

Also is it possible to get this info from DOL.If so how?
