i just check my case status online and found out this i applied for Labor substitution & i140 what is that mean is this thing gona delay my process or what my lawer applied for me on nov 2005 calfifornia and case transfer on march 21 2006 please let me know what this mean did they ask information from employer or from lawer

This means that they are issuing an RFE in most cases. RFE is request for evidence, and that means that they require more information to proceed making a decision in your case.

Follow up closely with your attorney and provide all the details that they are requesting. If your case is simple and straightforward, you should not have any problems. There are cases where INS issued multiple RFEs and eventually approved the petitions. So nothing to worry about for now, I think.
