Hi,

I Have some questions on Labor substitution and I140/485 concurrent filing

Is it posssible to do a I140/I485 concurrent filing in case of labor substitution?

My employer is telling me that is not advisable to do so. Anybody already had passed through same situation ? Please share your experience with me.

Yes...I did my LC SUBSTITUTION. Filed I-140 in April, with receipt applied i485 in August. Recevied EAD and AP in October. Hope it helps.
 
Yes...I also did my LC substitution. I Filed I-140 in July then i filed with receipt applied I-485 in Sep. I haven't recevied EAD .

Still I am waiting for EAD ......................
 
When do they send receipts after cashing the checks?

I just saw today in my bank account that INS cashed my checks for I485/131/765 filed concurrently with I 140 which was mailed on 11/16/2002. How much time goes in between they cash the checks and you get a receipt for concurrent application?
 
waiting for I-140 to be cleared

Applied I-140 thru LC substitution 05/15/02...Applied I-485/AP/EAD in first week of Oct...

Still waiting for everything including I-140, AP .EAD

Guess it is taking longer for LC Substitutions.....
 
Hi guys..
I did Labor substitution. I applied I140 May18th2002.
Then applied I485/131/765 on SEPT30th2002.
Got Approval I140 OCT09th2002.
Got EAD approval 11/07/2002.
AP approved 11/08/2002.
FP schduled on 12/03/2002.
EB3.
No need to worry, you guys will get soon approvals.
I don't think any difference in LC substitution and other cases.
It totally depends INS calculations.
 
FP notice received.

140/485/EAD/AP MD: 10/16/02 with labor substitute.
RD: 11/01/02
FP RD: 11/12/02
FP scheduled for 12/17

Any clues about the I140 application when you receive FP notice? Do they even look at it? I am just curious because my labor matches exact requirements.

I see that people who applied later than me for I-140 (concurrent filing, Labor substitution) received their approval for I-140 and also their EAD. Don't know when it will happen for me :(
