Labor in progress...aquisition of my company..what happens now?

I\'m working for company A which has applied for labour for me .. not yet approved. Meanwhile the group I\'m working in has been bought over by company B. So can the time spent on my labour in company A be transferred to B or does the whole process start all over again. Also my H1 6yrs expires in March 2003. Any chance of getting an approved labour by then..applying I 140 and getting a extension?
