Labor date

I am on H1b and at the end of 5th year. My company sent documents last week for Labour certification to CA office.

Which date is considered as priority date for the 365 day limit for 7th year extension? Is it date the office has received the labor papers by mail or the day we receive the case number ?

Usually the date SESA (SWA) received your application and assigned the case number.

Also, different SESA (SWA) follows different procedure, call the office where your case is pending.
