Labor Condition - RIR

Hello,
I am on H1B, 2nd term (6th year) will expire in May 2008. My Labor Condition (under RIR) was filed in October 2004. Now the case is in the queue (IN PROCESS) with Philadelphia backlog center.

If I choose to move to Canada within a few months to meet the PR requirements of 2 years, will my labor condition process continue with the current employer (provided the employer keeps the job open for which the RIR was filed)? If I do not move to Canada, I will loose the PR card.

Can H1B extension for the 7th year be filed and will it get approved smoothly?

I would like to know experience of those who has faced or is facing similar situation.
Thanks!

I am no lawyer but......

Unless I am very much mistaken I don't see why you would lose your labor certificate. The LC is for a FUTURE job - not your current (temporary) job. I can't see how it would impact you as long as your petitioner continues to process it. Remember, you don't even have to be working here to have an LC submitted.

Consult your lawyer before making any decisions but I just don't see why this would be a problem. Am I wrong?
