Hi all,
I have a third year of computer science and almost 11 years of experience in the field of the computer science. Besides that I have taken a lot of coursses and have two engineering certifications....
At this time there is a company sponsoiring me for a H1-B visa with a premium process, and I wanted to know if based on my skills I am able to be elegible, and besides that how long does it take to be certified with the labor certification?
Thanks in advance.

re:

You can get your degree and work experience evaluated so that it meets the H1-B requirement (4-year degree). This makes you eligible to file for H1-B visa.

From my lawyer: "eligibility for H-1B status is predicated on your holding an appropriate college degree, or its equivalent based upon a combination of experience and formal education. In order to establish your equivalency to the necessary degree, the evaluation service must rely upon evaluating your educational documents, resume and employment experience. In order to prove acquisition of experience, we ask that you secure reference letters from past employers to support your case. "

Check with your lawyer if they work with university professots who can perform this evaluation.

hope it helps

Evaluation

HI
You need to send all the certificate, Experience proofs specifically reference letters on the skills to an approved agency. Every attorney may be using a different agency for evaluation and the attorney attaches the same along with application. Your attorney will have all the details and you need not worry about anything. the evaluation takes two weeks and two to three weeks for H1B transfer on premium processing. This evaluation is generally done for all the education from other countries.
All the best.
