Labor Certification

Hello All,

I am new to this Forum. I would like to get some information.

I worked for one company A in 2003 from february till Nov 2003 as contractor to Company B.From Nov 2003 I became a full time employee of Company B. As company A is a consulting firm, and the payment was outstanding from B to Company A, I did not get the pay for Aug,Sept, oct, nov 2003. Can company A pay me for these months in 2004 and give me W2 for 2004, while I am full time to Company B for 2004. As I want to file my labor certification with company B, I want to know if the W2 from company A for 2004 will cause any problem.

I read concurrent working and getting paychecks is ok with two different H1's from two companies. Does this implies even while GC processing?

Thanks for any Ideas and suggestions.

Complain in Labor Department.

You should get 2 W-2 - one from A and one from B.

It will not cause any problem.

What is your status? Are you on H1B, EAD??? You should have a valid auhorization to work for A and B - that is all.

Thanks for any Ideas and suggestions.
