My company had filed for my Labor certification for my Green card from San Diego where I was working. Recently I relocated to their HQ in bay area. Now the company has closed down their San diego office. How does my Labor and GC gets affected.
Does the process starts fresh or it gets carried over to the new place of relocation with the status maintained.

Have your employer contact DOL

Qualifying Criteria

Have them contact the DOL and address he fact that the office they filed through has closed and they want to amend your labor certification. This happened to me and I got frustrated and shifted my project to another employer who filed a fresh labor for me. Things went well with that and now I am waiting for Adjument of I-485.

I think you will have to restart the process - as your place of work has changed quite significantly. Talk to your attorney's if there is a way around restarting the application (though I doubt it), or else withdraw previous application and start with the new one as soon as possible.

RakeshMishra,

Ask your employer to update EDD. Your lawyer may have to send another Prevailing Wage Info for the new location. May have to run ad.

Wait do not panic - all this will be asked by EDD. Just ask you lawyer to inform EDD. Most of the things that we worry about never happens.

For safe side ask your employer to file another LC for new location.
