Hello,
I work for a small startup company on the east bay and my company had filed for my greencard in june of 2001. Recently, I got a note from my lawyers stating that my application in DOL was sent back to state. I'm sure this question has been posted before, but has anyone faced a similar issue? To top it all, it was put in the NON-RIR queue!
What does this really mean? What happens to the case now? Do I need to wait for the state to process it again and then go back in DOL...seems like I-140 and I-485 are going to be years away
How can we find out why the case was sent back to state? On what grounds? And is there any possibility that the case might be sent back to DOL again...just as abruptly it was sent to the state? This is clearly discrimination....which shows that the process is not merit based.
Any answers would be appreciated.
