I would like to know if anyone has applied for labor in RIR and it got "converted" to non RIR(Assuming that you got some indication that RIR doesn't apply and would have to go with non RIR or something like that) later on?? If yes, I have the following questions....
1. The non RIR application, is it considered a new application or would it still have the reciept date etc of the original one??
2. Can I apply for 7th year extension based on the reciept date of the original application??
3. The original application, is it considered "denied"/"rejected" or simply modified to be processed under different category??
4. When the non RIR application gets processed which reciept date is used for the processing??
Any information in this regard is greatly appreciated!
