Labor Certification-relevent experience from prior post in same company

Hi,
I recently got promoted to Senior Software Engineer in my company. Before that i worked for about 2 years as Software Engineer. The company has given detailed advertisements for the Senior Software Engineer Post to satisfy the advertisement criteria for RIR stuff. Can i show the experience as Software Engineer (before being promoted) for satisfying the relevent experience section for my labor application.

No, you cannot use experience gained at the sponsoring employer towards fulfiling job requirements for LC.

Thnx for the reply, I am in a rather precarious situation then because the ad posting was done accumulating the experience in the current job. Guess i will have to persuade pple to give another Advertisement series and start all over again in the RIR process

You can use the experience gained with the sponsoring employer for your GC petition, with some restrictions. See other relevant posts in this forum and also check murthy.com.
