Labor Certification process

Hi,

My company has agreed to process my Green card and about to start with Labor certification process. I have the following questions.

1. My company did a temporary labor certification process as part of my H1b transfer. Would this in any way help this new LC process for GC ?
2. Are we supposed to follow the rules of PERM processing now ? In otherwords DOL already start accepting applications through PERM ?

Any helpful response would highly be appreciated.

1. LC process thats done for H1b transfer has nothing to do with the LC for GC process.
2. PERM is slated to go into effect from March 31st tentatively. Many attornies and Immigration gurus are still not sure how it needs to be handled at the moment, for applying an LC.

I would suggest to check with your attorney regarding how they intend to apply for your LC.
