Friends

Iam from Louisville, KY.
I applied for Labor through my company under EB3 category on june 9th 2003.
I got my state labor cleared (Kentucky )
Then my case went to Atlanta regional. My case was RIR though.
On the edge of getting approval...unfortunately...it moved to Philadelphia back log processing center.

Now ....I dont know when I would get my labor approved.
Getting green card is a far cry now...but atleast want to know the status of my labor.

Iam new to this forum and need help from you guys.

Thanks in Advance
gc_begger(I took this username out of lots of frustration)

Please search before posting, atleast you should had glanced through forums/thread list to see if there is anybody else waiting for labor. Its waste of resources and it hides relevant/informative threads by posting such generic question/problem in a new thread. Analogically I can say that your thread is similar to posting "I don't have enough money, what to do" thread in "finance" forum.

there is no need to be this harsh USCISisMockery!! as gc_begger said, he/she is new to the forum. did you consider that maybe he/she didn't know how to get to the right thread or how to post? the first time i joined the forum, i ended up posting a new thread without realizing it. instead of being this harsh, you could simply tell the person what to do. being nice/polite won't cost you anything...

Who appoints here USCISisMockery as manager

I am agree with Forte1, there is no need to be this harsh USCISisMockery!! as gc_begger said, he/she is new to the forum.

I wanted to know who appoints USCISisMockery as manager here?

I agree with USCIS and disagree with the rest of you 2

SO WHAT if he/she is new to the forum? did the person even care to browse the other threads before posting a message? a lot of them come and post in the wrong threads/forums, expecting everyone to answer their queries without researching the info already available

There are several ways of expression

I agree with all of you. But I do not agree the way it was replied first. It is too harsh.

Can we ask ouselves a question, if every one responds in similar way to every question, can you pl. imagine, where the forums will go.

There are several ways to express our opinions. Please refrain from showing our egoistic feelings.

There is nothing wrong in showing the right path, if some one needs.

Thanks

SRK.

Ben123...

As I mentioned in my initial message...I took this name out of frustration.
I realized that I no need to beg for Permanent Residency in US...

Whats the worst going to happen...I will go back to India... right?

"Mera Bharath Mahan"

Anyway... I requested Monica(Administrator ) to change my Username
hope ...He/She helps in that regard

Thanks for the suggestion though

Ask yourself.........did you even care to find out if he browsed the other threads before posting this message? And if you did not.... you know what i mean :-}

And gc_beggar..... got no hard feelings, but just wanted to say this... We came into this country as Software Professionals. We are educated and well off (ok maybe not stinking rich, but you know what i mean :-} )
Let's not demean ourselves by making statements like "I need to beg for the GC" etc....
And no... going back to India is not the worst option. There may be corruption there, there may be dust/pollution there but you as an Indian citizen are always welcome there. There are a lot more "worst options" than going back to India. If staying in India was the worst option, well consider that we have been born and brought up in India. Our parents, relatives etc are still in India. It looks like we are being hypocrites when we say "At the worst , i will go back to india" and then in the same breath say "Mera Bharat Mahaan".
Again guys, i dont intend to preach....... Yes, i am also waiting for my Labor Approval, agreed. I also want the GC.

All i am saying is why unnecessarily lower ourselves by making such statements. We would have survived without any problem if we did not come to this country, and we will survive fine if we have to leave this country.

Sorry if i ruffled any feathers here..........normally i don't post a lot of messages, but just felt like putting in my 2 cents here.....

Good post Krik.
Sometimes I feel going back to India is a lot lot better option than staying here and waiting for a freaking labor petition to get cleared.
GC_hunter - thanks for changing ur name.
