Guys,
I talked to my lawyer, He told , We got a query in feb 2004 and had replied in March 2004 and your state is clear and case went to federal. So your case did not go to Backlog office, Still Illinois is processing . Is it True ?

Second Question - Who is sending 45 days letter , State or federal people or Backlog office. ?

I got similar message from my lawyer but not sure if it ended up in Dallas or Chicago DOL is processing. AFAIK, CHI DOL is supposed to send all cases to Dallas BRC. I am still waiting for the 45-day letter. Others, please post your reply if you are in a similar boat.

When did you filed with your Local TWC office ? maybe that is what he meant after approval from state he forwarded to Fed's, Not sure if your case is still in ILL .

Federal are the ones sending out the 45 dys letter for older cases that been there since 2001/2003 just to confirm if it worth processing or not .

Iam also in the same boat.As far as i know all the opened cases are still at chicago but they are not processing them as of now.Opened cases are the cases that are assigned to the officers.Thats what i heard from my lawyer.are yours RIR or Regular LC?
Mine is RIR.

When did you filed?

Can you guys tell us when did you actually filed inillinois SESA.

I have filed in April 2004. I dont have a word from my attorney. no 45 days letter yet.

I filed my RIR labor in Illinois Sep 2003; my file went to the Chicago regional office Mar 2004. No update since then - I assume the file then got sent off to the Dallas BEC, but I (employer/attorney) haven't received any 45-day letter yet.

As I mentioned earlier message. If the case is open, the Illinois is processing the case, Case will not send to BEC Dellas. But I talk to lawyer, He got the letter from BEC office and case has been sent to BEC and BEC will process the case . So I am again confuse where is my case ?

Any one has any information , PD is sep-2003 .

My PD is Aug 2003 ( Chicago).
It hase gone to BEC. Alreadu got 45 days letter and replied to it.

I do not think there ary cases being processed in the region. All the cases have gone to the BEC. Your lawyer is just fooling you.
