Labor Certification Frustration

I have worked for a company in Florida for four years on H-1B. During my fifth year I asked HR to file for my Labor Certification because I wanted to remain in US permanent. They filed my Labor from their Atlanta Office and then subsequently closed the office. I received a notice of findings on my case. My company was asked to file a fresh labor from where they had an office. If they had notified the DOL about the closing this would not have happened. I grew frustrated and switched companies and found a new employer willing to file my labor. They have treated me very well and I have gotten my labor approved and I-140 and I-485 filed. Im glad I didn't wait for my sixth year to make a decision. So those of you still trying to sort out your own frustrations please keep your head up and keep trying.

Good to know your LC stage has completed, but AFAIK changing job locations will mean that LC process has to be restarted. LC's are petitioned for a particular job posting at a particular job location. If either of them changes, it usually means that you will have to restart the application.
