Labor certification for green card

Hi,

I have been employed by a consulting company for the past three years. My green card process started in 8/2001. Unfortunately, the law firm that my company uses, put a wrong (very high) salary on my labor certification. Now they say that the only rectification is to file a NEW labor certification altogether. Please advise, is this the only solution?

Also, I have been hearing rumors, that the labor certification process is under automation, which will expedite the process to, with in a couple of months! Is there any reality to it? If so can you please spare a few details....
I thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely

Is the LC approved? If not, it may be possible to amend. The secont thing to find out is why was the salary requirement so high. It may be that is what is required by SESA and if so refiling will not change the requirement.

You're talking about PERM. It seems to be getting delayed. I will start using it when I see it, until then I'm operating under existing rules.

Thanks for your response. I really appreciate it.

My LC is approved with a wrong salary. I do not have a very low salary. The lawyer made a mistake and put in twice as much as my salary for reason beyong my understanding.

I have heard that all LC, I 140 and I 485 will become very fast and online. I want to know, how much truth is in it.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely
Uzair
