Labor certification again?

My husband, a software engineer, filed for Green Card and got Labor Certification two years ago. Then he changed his job and renewed H1b visa with a new employer. Dose he have to do Labor Certification again? Can he transfer Labor certification and go to the next step? Thanks.

unfortunately yes,

Labor Certification is tied to company, you husband is only the benificaery. so he has to start green card process from scratch. Green card is job in future so only condition is if his formal employee want to continue green card process then even though your husband working with differnt company his green card filed with old company. only thing is he has to work with old company once his green card approve, and he won't be able to use any other benifit like 7th year of green card, and/ or poratabilty laws.

Hey Julka

You can check with the attorney on using the old Priority date. Though he needs to start the LC process allover again he may be able to take the advantage of priority date. I'm not sure how it works. Check with your attorney.
