I have a company's sponsored LC application. It is under EB3 category. My present title is Associate Programmer Analyst. The promotion track of the position is Associate Programmer Analyst to Programmer Analyst to Senior Programmer Analyst. The time for the track would be 1-2 years from Associate Programmer Analyst to Programmer Analyst. It takes around 3 years to be promoted from Programmer Analyst to Senior Programmer.
Now the title I am applying is Associate Programmer Analyst. While applying for the LC and later waiting to file I-485, Could I still be promoted to Programmer Analyst and later Senior Programmer Analyst? I have searched this forum and have some one had that experience; however, could any one with the experience to point me to the LAW. I need to find this reference to convince my lawyer. Thanks.
