Labor approved in VSC region and planning to file I140 and I485 at TSC

Hi,

This is for one of my friend:

My friend have an approval from DOL Philly and now willing to file I140 and I485 from TSC as his company head office is located in TSC region.

Is this going to be a problem? Does INS allow this? Please post if any of you or your friend have similiar situation.

Normally Labor/I140 have to be filed where you intend to work. I485 has to be filed where you live.

Concurrent filing has to be done where the intended place of work is.

This is my case:

My intended place of work is under VSC and my place of residence is under TSC.

My company has applied my I140/I485 in TSC in early January 2003.

TSC has given me receipt numbers for all of them. Not sure whether they will process it Or move it to VSC.
