LA office interview

It is at least nice that we are all together and can share info , based on the postings i feel people whose cases got txfered on 06/02 has also not got any call.... for interview .

I went to INS LA last month (1st week), the rep told me that my file is in room where they schedule interview , also I did my 2nd FP on 11/30/30...any guess when I can expect interview.


Also do u guys know anybody who would have gone thru' interview process in EB3 category at LA INS......would be interesting to find out.
 
tp, I doubt eb*.* matters at interview stage. What were the reasons for your app transfer?

So far we've identified the following reasons.

a) Association with some organization (don't know which ones)
b) Address change involving center changes during your AOS.
c) Insatisfactory reply to RFE
d) Adjudicating officer not gotten laid last night.

I am guessing reason might have been job change , my old company got closed , so I had to switch job

hi tp72, correct me if i am wrong..

your second fp was issued from LA INS office which was done on 11/30/02.

then you should expect interview notice anytime...
based on the info. i have received from this board,IIO, AILA liason posting, Attorneys etc.. they (Local ins offices) have to schedule an interview within 90 days after they receive FP results.. but it's always not the case..

because INS has some other priorities comes in while they are aproaching cases of unlucky persons like me such as..

in the past months temporary freeze due to installation of new FBI system, special registration,IBIS, DHS and the list goes on and on...

But right now only word we have to live with is "hope"

my 2nd FP was from la INS ..


I moved within southern cal , also I moved after case was txferred , so do not think that played any role...
 
2nd FP ....from la ins

i don't think that has to do anything with moving....

i have moved too after file got txferred to la ..but within their (la ins office) jurisdiction.
