Dear Immigration experts,
I came to US in Dec. 2000 on L2 VISA when my husband got transfered through his company.
I need to get converted to F1 VISA as soon as possible because I would like to divorce my husband and be on my own.
1) Do I need to visit India to convert my L2 to F1?
2) If not, what are the procedure I need to follow to get it converted while residing here.
3) Will I be able to travel? My i-94 based on L2 is going to expire in March-2004.
