My Husband is on L1A, His Extension has been approved in Dec 2024. Myself and Children are on L2, along with L1A extension we applied for L2 Extension (form I539). Though we all applied together his L1A got approved. Regarding My I539, on Dec 15th I got a notice saying " we have completed preliminary review of the application or petition ("your case"), As part of standard processing, we transferred your case to USCIS office (California service center). After that didnot receive any response. Online case status shows the same " Case has been transferred to another Jurisdiction"
For my children, I am the applicant and they are the beneficiaries.
Question: While this process is in progress, i had to travel to India and submitted my passport for L2 visa extension ( by submitting my husbands approved I797) through drop box on 31st Jan . After 2 days ( on 4th Feb) I saw the visa case status as "Refused " with some description " A US consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application, Please follow any instructions provided by consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing , your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing ......"
Until now i didnot receive any communication from consular office. What does this mean? why did they refuse my visa? What do I need to do now. My family is in USA and I am struck in India. Please advise me on this
