Hi,
This visa issue is as complicated as any other. I am on L1 visa and came here in Jan2004. My visa was stamped for 1 yr (which is as usual) and the I94 was given till DEC2006 as per my petition. So far so good....
My wife and kid also meanwhile got their visa stamped and my wife's visa expires in jan 2005 and my son's visa expires in APR2005. They were however able to join me here in Dec2004 (actually yesterday) but surprisingly they got their I94 till ONLY APR2005. Now, since my I94 is anyway stamped till Dec2006 and they are dependants, will they get an extension of stay after Apr2005 while they are here? If yes, what is the procedure for the same. If no, does that mean that the only way out is that THEY go back to India and gets stamping again?
