L2 visa documents...URGENT

I am applying for L2 as my wife is travelling on L1 through her company and i am currently working. i will accompany her on L2. Do i need to get any no objection from the employer or apply leave for the period i will stay?
Do i need to go to the same consulate in India where my wife's visa was issued?

Need these info URGENTLY !!!

Unless you are working in Govt oragnization, you don't have to produce NOC and check following link for more documents

It is not required to submit to same consulate. You should have applied for L2 when your wife applied for L1 through her company.
