L2 visa and EAD

I am in L1 visa and it is going to Expire in March. I have applied for extension. My wife who just came is in L2 visa. Is it a good move to apply for her Employment authorization. IF yes then do i need to apply for her employment authorization again after extension

You will have to apply again to get a new EAD. Since your renewed L1 is hopefully approved soon, it is better to apply for her EAD then. It can take a while before they approve it anyway.
