I came to USA 3 years back on L2 visa just after graduating from Medical school in home country. I want to do residency on J1 visa. My spouse is on L1 blanket and his employer wont sponsor Green card.
I also have loan of 15000 $ with my husband for the new car we bought. I don't have any property in my name, no documents form home country proving my ties , job, tax payments.
what would be safest way to get J1 visa?
1.Should I go to my home country for J1 visa stamping, will it be safe? considering my spouse is here since 3 years and I dont have any property , job back in Homecountry?
or
2. should I apply for EAD( for which I am eligible) and start my residency and get J1 stamped when I visit home country later?
3.How should I prove my non -immigration intent in my case
