L2 to H4

I'm currently on L2 dependent visa and have valid EAD. My husband is soon moving to H1B and that will mean i'll lose my EAD as on H4 i cannot work. Now my husband's H1 is on premium processing and is expected to be approved soon whereas my H4 is is not expected to be approved anytime sooner. My question is, if my husband moves to H1, does my EAD becomes invalid? Please note that i'm still on valid I-94 under L2 visa. What is the validity status of my EAD when I'm on L2 and my husband is on H1 for the period until my H4 gets approved?
 
EAD is not valid if you don't have L2 status. EAD will become invalidated on the day your husband's H1 gets approved. You will receive a new I-94 with H4 status when your L2 to H4 change of status is approved. Yourcurrent I-94 remains valid until the expiration date.
