Presently I am in US on L2 visa. In February 2006, I have attended Interview in Chennai US consulate for H1B visa. Due to their clarifications on the project, they have taken all the papers and stamped on the passport "Application Received".
Now I came to US on L2.
1. Can I work on the old existing H1b by converting the Status L2 to H1.
2. Will there be any problems further on this.
3. What happens if they reject the status conversion from L2 to H1. Will my previous L2 status will be there or not.
4. Since i have not stamped from India, do I need to get stamped for this.
5. Will there be any problems in the future, if I apply for any other visas.
