Hi,
I have some questions. I am on L2 and so applied for my EAD when i came to US. I got it and its valid till 2008. Same time a company applied for my H1, and the date is May 19th. Till now i have not got any approval. I have the receipt number, which when i check online just says check the processing dates for your service center.
1. How much time does it take to get an approval?
2. Does approval mean i will get a petition from USCIS?
3. Now as soon as i get the approval does the status change from L2 to H1? Or does that happen on Oct 1st? Could you tell me how exactly it happens?
4. When i go for stamping i need payslips from the company right? Can the pay slips be done away with or are they mandatory for getting stamped? And how many months' slips do i need?
