I am currently on L2 Visa. An employer who has sponsered my H1B Visa for which I got the approval. Meanwhile, I got an opportunity to join Full time with a Company on L2 visa. Now, I am requesting my company to transfer my H1B so that I can continue working with them.
1. Is this possible. ? If so, how long would this process take. ?
2. My L2 Visa got expired and I have I 94 extension papers. So, now if I go to INdia and come back with L2 Visa stamping would my H1B approval still be valid so that I can go for stamping of H1 once I come back from India ??
I have an emergency that I have to go to india before my H1 gets transferred.
3. I heard that once I leave US, I would have only the Visa I came back with and any other approvals that I have would become void. Is this true.??
