L2 status expiration

I am on L2 visa . My spouse who is a L1 holder is going to leave US to continue work for the same company in his country. We both have I-94 valid Sep 2006. Do I have to leave US or can stay until my I-94 expires

As long as your spouse satisfies the requirements of his status you should be fine. There is no requirement to spend a minimum amount of time in the US, unlike a greencard. I have been outside of the US for long periods of time and never had problems coming back.
If possible, please double check with an attorney.

You should not have a problem remaining in the US as long as your spouse is in valid L-1 status. Just make sure you return before your I-94 expires
