I am in the process of being granted an L1 visa through my employer and relocating from Sydney, Australia to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in January 2007.
I have been advised by my employer that my partner (girlfriend) is entitled to travel and live in the US with me on the L1 Visa, however she is ineligible to work. My girlfriend does not hold a bachelor degree or higher in relation to her specified field (Retail), therefore does not qualify for an E3 Visa... We are not married and we are wondering (other than marriage) what options she has in being eligible to travel and work within the United States.
Can anyone comment on what options we have available to us?
